Bristol is one of three UK cities hosting an epic Red Bull Culture Clash event this autumn. The event heads to the city’s Motion nightclub on October 12, 2012, for an all-out celebration of UK bass music.

The tour will see some of the most influential crews go head to head, setting the scene for the main Red Bull Culture Clash event at Wembley Arena on November 7, 2012. Four of Bristol’s freshest collectives are bracing themselves to go big at the musical battle with Apple Pips, Clearskyz, Black Box and Weapon of Choice – each representing their own brand of bass.

Adopted Bristol boy, Appleblim will bring his Applepips label to the event with slots from Al Tourettes and Chris Farrell who is on a mission to keep vinyl alive in the city promoting his Idle Hands shop and record label. One of Bristol’s original drum & bass dons, DJ Die will spin with acts from his new Clearskyz and Gutterfunk labels going up against dubstep crew, Black Box. A staple on the local urban art and hip hop scene, Weapon of Choice are primed to go in hard with former 1xtra DJ Skitz and others behind the decks. Let the battle commence…
