The Southwest’s premier music industry and music technology show celebrates its 5th year anniversary on Saturday 18 May at Exeter Phoenix. Organised by social enterprise Sound Gallery Studios, this unique event brings with it hundreds of visitors and an impressive guest speaker line-up featuring Peter Gabriel and Led Zeppelin percussionist Hossam Ramzy, soundscape innovator Richard Barbieri of Porcupine Tree, Big Country’s Tony Butler, Bristol Drum n Bass producer and Roni Size engineer D-Product, MU officer Paul Gray, Martin Walker (Sound On Sound), drummer Ash Soan (Adele, Squeeze, Del Amitri), Steve Knightley from Show of Hands and more

Analogue to Digital (A2D) showcases a diverse range of products by major music technology brands, hands-on demos, masterclasses, workshops and music industry seminars delivered by high profile artists and producers across 4 Zones and 3 floors over 1 day!

Sound Gallery is proud to announce that Richard Barbieri (Japan, Porcupine Tree) will be delivering a Vintage Analogue Synth masterclass at the show. Musicians Union regional officer Paul Gray will also deliver a session on everything you wanted to know about playing live, royalties, copyrights, music publishing, contracts and more.

Other notable demonstrators and speakers include certified Ableton trainer Martin Delaney, Reason demonstrator Gary Bromham, producer Lee Fletcher (Unsung productions), DJ erbNdub, producer Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Scott Matthews), Tim Bowness of art rock band No-Man, Nick Tarbitt from Integrity records and Andy Watts (Seahorses).

The event will also include Q & A sessions, seminars, stalls and live demos showcasing all the latest products from Yamaha Music, AVID (ProTools), Ableton (Live 9, PUSH), 2Twenty2 Agency (Bitwig, Teenage Engineering), Sound Technology (Propellerhead/Reason), Time + Space (Rob Papen, iZotope), BakTraK, Clicksound, Quested Monitors, TFProt, Super Audio Mastering, Alphasphere, hungersleep records as well as live music, give-ways, studio competitions, the legendary Prize Draw and the aftershow party on the terrace organised by JamTheChannel!
