DJ Binbags is a DJ, producer and promoter from Bath who’s developed a following for his varied musical styles incorporated into high energy DJ sets consisting of all aspects of drum & bass, jungle, reggae, hip-hop and dubstep. He first started playing in clubs 2 years ago after winning a local DJ competition and has since gone on to secure a number of residencies which has seen him play regularly alongside some of the biggest names in the scene including; Shy Fx, Serial Killaz, DJ Zinc, Redlight, 16Bit, Benny Page, Dillinja, Ratpack, Danny Byrd, B.Traits, DJ Hazard, Trolley Snatcha, Interface, N3gus, Carasel, High Contrast, Sub Zero, Nicky Blackmarket and many, many more.
In the short time that he has been a DJ, Binbags has played in clubs all over Bath, Bristol, Wales, the Southwest of England and now also has events lined up in Amsterdam. He has recently started producing his own music and already has a couple of tracks released on local label Division Bass Digital. He is currently working to refine his own take on uplifting jungle and dub inspired tracks and hopes to have some more releases ready in the New Year.
He is utterly passionate for music, works hard to get heard and loves nothing more than to see party goer’s dancing hard to some bass heavy beats whether it’s deep drum & bass, uplifting ragga rhythms, classic hip-hop or reggae, he never sticks to just one genre or style allowing him to cater for a wide range of events.
His broad knowledge and love of many different styles will be securing some slots at festivals in 2014 but he is always looking for new events to play at and further showcase his own flavour to the clubbing and festival scene.
