GRANDMASTER FLASH IN MINI SOUTH WEST TOUR
The legendary hip hop Dj, and one of the earliest DJ’s full spot, Grandmaster Flash is heading to Newton Abbot on Friday 9th September for an exclusive gig at the all new Yellow Room – Hannahs at Seale Hayne, ahead of his Bestival show on the Isle of Wight the following day. If you know Hip Hop then you know what a big deal this is. He is the original deal, the first to use decks as a musical instrument. And along the way become the inventor of a new musical genre. There are not many musicians who can have that claim to fame. Grandmaster Flash last played at the Dance Academy, Plymouth back in the late ninties/early noughties – we can’t remember the exact date as it was so long ago! He is amazing to watch, we have never seen a DJ play so many tunes in such a short space of time, and he totally commands the crowd – we strongly urge you to check this guy out – a true master of the decks.
