AUCHENTOSHAN PRESENTS AT BRISTOL START THE BUS ON AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY
Auchentoshan, the triple distilled Single Malt whisky, has taken its series of ‘Auchentoshan Presents’ events on tour, having visited Glasgow and London, next stop is Bristol. Partnering with Squeaky Hill, ‘Auchentoshan Presents’ will hit Start The Bus for Bank Holiday Sunday. The day kicks off at 4pm with unique whisky tastings of the ultra smooth spirit, followed by fun and games and music from an awesome line-up to take you through the night. Auchentoshan, pronounced Ock-un-toshan, is a triple distilled Single Malt that aims to challenge the perception that whisky is the preserve of an older pipe and slipper-wearing gentleman drank at the end of the night or with cola. This Auchentoshan party will pack a punch into any laid back Sunday!
Auchentoshan is a whisky that’s targeted at guys and girls who enjoy the finer things in life but who might not have tried a Single Malt before. Whisky lovers can taste three key expressions of Auchentoshan, trying it with chocolate and also mixed as a long drink with fiery ginger ale and a wedge of orange. As the whisky tasting ends, the music takes over, with a Hexstatic Presents live AV Set as well as DJ sets from Flight Facilities (Australia), Picture House and Pardon My French. Hexstatic have been making waves for years with their blend of high-energy music and eye-popping visuals. Pioneers of the AV (audio/visual to you non-technophiles out there) DJ set, they paved the way for acts like 2ManyDJs. Flight Facilities join them with their indie-disco sound. While they’re over in the UK to play the Annie Mac Presents stage at Creamfields, we’ve snagged them for this very special appearance. Picture House’s remix for Crystal Fighters became a pool party staple for DJs last year when it came out of nowhere, and their firstoriginal track is due on out on vinyl label Sccucci Manucci alongside Jacques Renault later this month. Pardon My French DJs will be rounding off the support, delving into disco, house and boogie tunes for the night.
