THE JOY FORMIDABLE TO PLAY EXCLUSIVE SECRET GIG IN BRISTOL
Bristol’s Welsh neighbours, The Joy Formidable, will play a secretive guerilla gig in the city as part of a series of Clarks Originals gigs in the new year – where fans can win free tickets to the unique concert.
Fans can log onto www.clarksoriginals.com where they will be able to enter a ballot to win tickets for them and a friend to one of three guerilla gigs with Welsh Trio ‘The Joy Formidable’, a rock band renowned for their epic yet intimate live performance and strikingly original style.
In a drive to bring fans a completely unique music experience Clarks Originals will go guerrilla taking the tour through London, Manchester and Bristol. Fans will be able to select the city of their choice, with only 150 places available per location to retain the intimacy required for the unique music experience. In true guerrilla style for those that miss out on the ballot there will also be a few extra tickets on the door for fans that are quick on their toes and Twitter.
Frontwoman Ritzy Bryan said: “We’re all for giving the audience a unique experience and that goes beyond the venue and the location. We’re interested to see where the ORIGINALSLIVE tour takes us, just no boats or churches…been there, done that!”
The Bristol gig takes place in an undisclosed location in Bristol on March 1, 2012. Entry closes 3rd February 2012 and winners will be notified via email on the 6th February 2012. Entrants must be 18 or older.
