Productions In Love, a not-for-profit organisation, is currently planning an arts and performance-based, mini-festival at Motion Skatepark on May 12, 2012.

The aim of the festival is to raise funds for and awareness about four different charities – WaterAid, Shelter, FareShare and Child Poverty Action Group. The line-up will feature a range of hip-hop, dubstep and drum’n’bass acts, including Stenchman, Faomo and Koven, Twisted Individual and Evil Nine and many more. There will be free shisha, perfomance and live street art as well as refreshments and competitions. Tickets £16 from Bristol Ticket Shop.

It is being run in conjunction with FareShare’s “Feeding the 5000” event, which is happening on the same day but on College Green, Bristol. between 1-5pm that day. “Feeding the 5000” is being attended by Eco-Chef Tom Hunt, Chef and Nephew of Mick Jagger, Arthur Potts Dawson and Author and Food Activist, Tristram Stuart. These people are all trying their best to make us and our society aware of how food is produced and ultimately wasted by supermarkets and other outlets, when in fact it could be used to feed thousands of people everyday.
