AEON FESTIVAL UPDATE // 28 – 30 AUG // SHOBROOKE PARK, CREDITON, DEVON
This year’s Aeon Festival takes place on the 28 – 30 August over the bank holiday weekend at Shobrooke Park, Crediton, Devon. With tickets priced at just £45 in advance (+bf) for three days and nights of fun, Aeon is one of the best local boutique festivals with four stages of top music. They also also have a fab cinema featuring lovely things like The Age of Stupid, Time Bandits, Repoman and lots of independently produced stuff. There’s tons more onsite nonsense that’ll get you sweaty and smiling, from mass speed dating, pole dancing dance offs, glitter paddling pool wrestling and Brendans sports wars to Forest School, bush craft, workshops, a parent and toddler group, Bookcycle with their book shop, a buskers corner raising money for our chosen charity, avantrural and other lovely cafes.. phew… oh and you can take the dog as long as it behaves, and kids aged 12 and under are free… And if the weather doesn’t perk up, there’s even more undercover space this year!
Here is a brief run down of some of the acts appearing on THE PROPHECY STAGE, which will feature punk, ska, indie, post – rock, folk, electronica and avant guarde loveliness live in The Amphitheatre.
