**Eksman**

Multi-award winning master of ceremonies, still holding the number 1 MC title in 2014 voted by 10′s of thousands at the official D&B awards, the man behind the massive Overload and Next Hype parties, Eksman’s story is stuff of legend…

Breaking through into the scene in the late 90s, during a time when the MC circuit was notoriously locked down, Eksman is largely regarded as the king of the new breed MCs and remains a huge inspiration for the next generation of budding mic-munchers… As proved by his Best MC accolade at BBC Radio 1Xtra, Best International MC at the National German Drum & Bass Awards and consecutive Best Lyrical MC scored at the Accelerated Culture and Raveology Drum & Bass Awards.

As a promoter, his Overload and Next Hype brands go from strength to strength, bringing the madness to every town, city or hamlet that will have him. Nurturing the exciting talents of hot prospects such as Harry Bizzle, Grimeminister, Traumatik to name a few, Eksman’s near-twenty year scene experience has helped establish a solid platform that’s respected by ravers the world over.

With regular appearances worldwide, and a hugely popular Independence Day mixtape series with DJ Majistrate, Eksman’s position as king of the MC remains fully intact… And won’t shift for a long, long time to come.

**Filthy Habits**

Filthy Habits are a Drum and Bass DJ/Producer duo from Birmingham/Wolverhampton consisting of Switchdoctor & Illusion. Both started djing in 2008, started producing in late 2009 and after 2 years in the scene, entered 2 DJ competitions in 2010, winning both, 1 of which was ‘Class A Recordingz’.

Shortly after this they became resident dj’s at ‘Raveology’ in 2011 playing at events such as One Nation vs Raveology NYE, Eksmans Overload, MC Spyda’s Bash, 10 YRS of SDC, Triggas Bash etc…

After getting tracks signed by Audio Espionage in August 2011, their first E.P was a success with all 5 tracks entering the top 10 on nu-urban music charts, with tracks (Shotgun) and (Golden Claw) hitting no. 1 and 2. With all subsequent releases making the top 10 of the DNBArena charts, they are really enjoying the vibe.

With releases and forthcoming releases on G13 Records, Smokescreen, Gun Audio, HighR8 Digital, Semtex Audio, Short Circuit, Murky Digital, Intelligent Beatz and track support from Roni Size, DJ Marky, Kenny Ken, Bass Brothers, Garry K, S.P.Y, Majistrate, Sly, Logan D, Nicky Blackmarket, Dominator, Rowney & Propz, Telekom, Harry Bizzle, Sativa Dub & Silent Type, plus many more, the future is looking bright for these boys.

Doors will be open from 9pm and last entry is 12:30am

Online tickets will be available on www.skiddle.com from the 24th March, and paper tickets will also be available from this date from any member of the Murky squad.

Tickets are priced at just £8, and only £7 with valid NUS card. It will be more on the door so make sure you grab your tickets quick.

Drink prices are extremely generous with deals on selected brands.

Photography will be done by Frenchy Fhotography.

We will also have someone filming throughout the night so make sure you get yourself on camera.

Full lazer and lighting shows with projection screens throughout the venue.

Security will be friendly and fair but with a no tolerance policy on drugs & thugs, so please leave any bad attitudes at home.

Just 500 meters from Portsmouth & Southsea train station.
