Muse have announced details of two very special shows in their hometown of Teignmouth, Devon.

The band will play two open air concerts at the Den, on the resorts’ seafront on September 4th and 5th. The trio comprised of Matt Bellamy, Dom Howard and Chris Wolstenholme are particularly excited about returning to Teignmouth; their last gig there was back in November 1995. Commenting on the shows Bass player, Chris Wolstenholme said, “The Teignmouth concerts are going to be a very proud moment for us. It is something we have wanted to do for a long time… we want to give something back to the community.”

This historic seaside town situated in South Devon at the mouth of the Teign estuary is a traditional resort with attractions including a Victorian pier, it will add to its list of significant cultural events when it becomes host to two outstanding shows by Muse, a band widely regarded as the UK’s most ambitious live band.

The band release the single ‘Uprising’ on September 7th, followed by their fifth album, ‘The Resistance’ on 14th September through Warners.
