GET IN THE MIX FOR FREE IN PLYMOUTH THIS SUMMER

Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

This summer all young people living in Plymouth between the ages of 11 to 19 (or 11 to 25 if you have a disability or special learning needs) are being offered the chance to try something they might never have done before as part of Plymouth’s Summer Mix 2010.

There are hundreds of FREE courses happening across Plymouth during the summer holiday, from fashion design to playing the steel drums, from learning how to beat box to making your own flavour ice cream or becoming a games designer or film director for a day. All the courses are exciting, different and it’s got to be better than being bored at home or hanging out on the street doing sweet FA.

As a bonus, everyone gets a certificate at the end of their chosen course and the courses and activities act as a great way of finding out what you may like to do in the future as a hobby or even as a career. More info and sign up at www.summermix.co.uk
