Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

Start The Bus is fast becoming one of the hippest gig venues in Bristol. Not only is it a decent bar which serves a good mix of food and hearty grub but it hosts some of the best up and coming bands and some of the most compelling club nights. And to celebrate its third birthday, the much loved venue has secured Acid Washed and Grouplove to play live sets. Stopmakingme (Kill Em All) and Pardon My French DJs will be on the decks spinning some top tunes to turn the celebration into a party. A spokesman for Start the Bus, which is sistered with the Lock Tavern in Camden and Sixty Million Postcards in Bournemouth, said: “Over the last year, we have been lucky enough to see the likes of Allo Darlin, Joy Formidable, The Vaccines, Gold Panda, Mount Kimbie, Seabear, Ruby Suns, The Correspondents and many more grace our stage, and we want to commemorate a new year in style.” Doors open at 10pm and won’t shut until 3am.
