Due to huge public demand following the global success of last year’s Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project, which saw the world swap nights on November 27th, The Smirnoff Co. is bringing the best of Miami’s nightlife to Oceana in Swansea in May for the final stop of the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project – Miami Tour, also visiting Edinburgh, Hatfield and Southampton.

Ensuring unforgettable nights, Swansea clubbers voted in their thousands on Facebook to win the experience and can expect a performance on the Miami Live stage from one of the hottest American DJ’s – Damaged Goods – who has gained a reputation as one of the top DJ’s in the U.S. with his residency at infamous nightclub Mansion as well as regularly playing the Miami Winter Music Conference. Music wise, expect a mash up of dance floor fillers spanning the best of electro, house, hip-hop, dubstep and trance tunes. Added extra include themed cocktails, palm trees overhead and Latino dancers and a carnival entertainment.

The competition on Facebook saw over 45,922 fans visited the Smirnoff page to vote for their local venue and those with competitive spirits got really involved and ‘un-voted’ rival venues. Thousands of fans attempted to vote at the last minute causing the application to crash in the final moments. As a result Smirnoff have decided to champion those two rivalling towns that were head-to-head in the final stages, Swansea and Southampton, by bringing the Miami event to both towns. Tickets for the Swansea event have already sold out but check www.facebook.com/SmirnoffGB for further details and any extras that might become available.
