ED SHEERAN SHOWS UPGRADED TO FALMOUTH PAVILION, DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND

After a great performance on Jools Holland last week, over a million hits on You Tube and a fast growing major buzz surrounding this Folk/hip hop sensation, Cornish promoters SW1 Productions have been forced to upgrade the two free entry shows planned for 21/22 June to avoid the venues becoming overcrowded.

Ed Sheeran will now perform at the Princess Pavilion, Falmouth on Monday 20th June. Both the original venues had been overwhelmed with enquiries about the shows, and it was decided that there was the potential for them becoming too big for the size of venue, and that fans could be disappointed if they were not able to get access to the gigs, as there were no advance tickets available. “We always knew that there could be a risk that the buzz surrounding Ed would blow up early, he’s had major support from radio and media and since the Jools Holland performance the enquiries have been flooding in. Doing the show at the Pavilion in Falmouth means that we can sell tickets in advance and will be able to advertise if it is sold out in advance” said local promoter Katy Thomas, SW1 Productions.
Ed, who has recently signed a worldwide deal with Asylum Records, is currently recording his major label debut due for release this Summer.

Tickets are £8 in advance and are available now from 01326 211222, www.seetickets.com or from the Hall for Cornwall box office 01872 262466 (all subject to booking fee).

You can also see Ed Sheeran at the Goldcoast Oceanfest in North Devon on 17-19 June, supporting Seasick Steve, The King Blues and more. Full details at www.goldcoastoceanfest.co.uk
