BRISTOL BAND GOAN DOGS SEEK VOTES FOR GREEN MAN FESTIVAL COMPETITION AHEAD OF FLEECE GIG
New Bristol band, Goan Dogs, who we featured in a recent issue of 247 Magazine are set to release their first record and are celebrating with a headline gig at Bristol Fleece on July 27. But before they wow another live audience they are urging people to check out their music and vote for them in the Green Man Festival poll. They’re in the running for the coveted prize of opening the main stage at this year’s Green Man Festival but they need your help. We think they sound like a Bristol Beirut – with haunting vocals and beautiful layered music. Listen to them HERE. And if you like what you hear, vote for them HERE. It takes but two minutes. They need to remain in the top five to get through to the next round. Closing date June 24. Tickets for the Goan Dogs gig with Fixtures, Holy Stain and Finglebone cost £5 and are available from Bristol Ticket Shop. Green Man Festival takes place in the Brecon Beacons in Wales on August 19-21. Explosions in the Sky, Fleet Foxes and Iron and Wine are headlining this year’s event. Tickets £135 from Ticketline.
