ST IVES GUILDHALL GETS READY FOR RY X
This coming November 30th 2016, St Ives, Cornwall proudly welcomes RYAN X to play at the Guildhall as part of his European tour. The Australian singer whose now based in L.A. is currently touring in the US and will begin a series of 4 dates here in the UK, with the Guildhall, St Ives. RY X’s debut album ‘Dawn’ was released through Infectious on November 4th to coincide with his tour. It features his new single ‘Howling’ and Ry X is very proud to unveil the sensual visuals that aid in conveying the raw heartedness that Ry felt when writing the song.
“Howling is based around the emotional connection and impact of past lovers into the present space. About the way we hold onto their energy and carry it, and them, with us, into new relationships, and into our lives even as we grow” Ry says. “I collaborated with dear friends on this piece with artist Elena Stonaker creating visual worlds, choreographer Nina McNeely for dance, and the three lead women in this are dear friends of mine. That way the intimacy and connection was real. Ever present.”
Support also comes from experimental artist Josin. With electronic and classically timeless elements to her music, Josin floats on a path somewhere between elegance and minimalism. We can look forward to hearing what her forthcoming EP will sound like when she finishes it, for now though we can enjoy her in the flesh as she supports the awesome RY X.
