Calling all Welsh bands – get involved in the Cardiff Battle of the Bands at the Millennium stadium next month.
Reckon you’ve got what it takes to be the next Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics or Lost Prophets?
Now in its second year, the CLIC Battle of the Bands (part of the annual Skills Cymru event) five finalists will get to play in the 250-capacity Presidents’ Lounge at the massive Millennium Stadium.
The winners will play in front of thousands of visitors. Not only that but they will win a week’s studio time with an established producer, the recording and pressing of a CD and MP3 demo with worldwide distribution of tracks, filming of a music video and a professional photo shoot.
The battle is open to bands and artists aged 11-25 and living in Wales. Bands should email a link to their MySpace page to botb@cliconline.co.uk by Friday 30 July.
Voting will take place online throughout August.
