Wychwood Festival takes place at the Cheltenham Racecourse from June 3 – 5. With it’s definite laid back folky vibe this festival is a true delight. You won’t find ravers chewing their faces off or chavs looking for a party but up to 8,000 music lovers enjoying the fab line up. Headlining this year’s festival are Britpop legends The Charlatans along with fellow Britpoppers The Bluetones, who have just announced they are splitting up at the end of the year. Hell, this could be your last chance to catch them before they disappear into the annuls of history! Other acts already confirmed include Scottish songstress Eddi Reader (famous for her hit Perfect with Fairground Attraction) and Irish folk popsters The Waterboys. If you like your music a little more worldly, feast your ears on the distinctive sound of Cornershop (famed for their 90s hit Brimful of Asha). Also on the bill you’ll find Idlewild frontman Roddy Woomble, Robyn Hitchcock and festival favourites 3 Daft Monkeys.
